Vestmanna Travel Guide

There are two firms operating boat trips from this village on Streymoy to the nearby bird cliffs. Without a single bird the trip would be exciting as the boat winds its far from obvious way into caves, under arches and round stacks; without a single arch, tsack or cave the trip would be a treat for its views of gannets, arctic terns, black and common guillemots, razorbills, pufins, great and arctic skuas; given both the cliffs and the birds, it is more than worth the money.

From Torshavn, vestmanna is located beyond the entrance of the tunnel to Vagar.
