Norðoyggjar is the collective name for the
six north-eastern islands of the Færoes: Bordoy, Fugloy, Kalsoy, Kunoy,
Svinoy and Vidoy.
Svinoy and Fugloy are only reachable by ferry, often running in fierce Atlantic conditions, from Havassund on Vidoy.
