Kalsoy Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeKalsoy is one of the six northern islands and is connected with Borðoy by the car ferry from Syðradalur to Klaksvik. The return fare of about £4 (£2 for pensioners) could be called a steal.
As seen from Eysturoy, Kalsoy is a continuous mountain ridge and there are indeed no habitations to the west of the island. There are several vilages on the east side but the northern half of the road is mainly submerged under two tunnels.
The northernmost point of Kalsoy is said to be one of the best points in al the Faroes for its scenery - quite a claim!
