The main reason to visit Vedbaek is probably the forest, and also the shopping abilities in the nearby city of Lyngby. When visiting Vedbaek you really get a glimpse of how everydaylife is in Denmark. Vedbaek is perfect for a one-day-trip. The Troeroedschool is also an attraction in Vedbaek, and is really worth visiting.
The train from Copenhagen - and to Copenhagen - leaves every 20 minutes, and takes about half an hour.
