to keep the whole family entertained during their stay in Billund. Things to do include golfing, fishing and shopping. There are also many other attractions that Billund has become famous for.
Sightseeing Flights
Billund Siteseeing Flights offer flights over areas in Denmark and over Legoland. You can organize a ride across from Legoland's main entrance. Popular flights go over Legoland or Givskud Zoo. You can also do a combination flight and see both. There is a variety of routes available and you can book your own plane to determine your own route. The airplanes are yellow and all passengers get a window seat so that they can enjoy the view. The minimum number of passengers is 2 and the maximum is 3 adults and 1 child. Siteseeing Flights follows the same safety regulations as other airlines in Denmark.
Lalandia
Lalandia Family Resort boasts many activities. Mony Tonky Land has a variety of activities to keep children entertained. Activities include jungle gyms, face painting and lego building. There is a special room for smaller children to play in. Another activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family is bowling. There is also an indoor mini-golf course which has 18 holes and is complete with bunkers and a variety of obstacles. Other activities include archery, badminton and tennis.
LegoLand
Legoland was opened in 1968 and since then it has become a major tourist attraction. One of the note worthy attractions in Legoland is lego replications of famous buildings around the world. Amalienborg Palace and Wat Pra Keo Palace are among the famous sites that are replicated. Miniland is constructed with 20 million lego bricks. There are more than 50 attractions at Legoland. For safety reasons some of the activities have height restrictions. Another attraction is taking a canoe along a river and down waterfalls. During this exciting ride you can see a variety of animals made from lego. At lego studios you can watch a variety of films that appeal to all the senses. 3-D glasses make characters seem life like and adds to the excitement. Duplo land is available for small children so that they can have fun in a safe environment. In Pirate Land you can ride on a pirate ship. There is a variety of shops and this is the perfect place to buy a Legoland souvenir. Meals and refreshments can be bought from 1 of the restaurants which have special children's menus.
