Outdoor
Sights in Billund
There are some great outdoor attractions to
explore when in Billund that are a great change from crowded theme parks
and shopping. The Torskind Gravel Pit is a fun stop that features an
array of sculptures created by the Danish sculptor Robert Jacobsen. The
sculptures were designed to interact with the landscape and its
lighting, making this walking the park a great experience.
The
Billund Sculpture Park is also a great attraction that continually
renews itself with new sculptures. Stretching between the Billund Civic
Center and Hotel Propellen, this park makes another great walk and
provokes thought among viewers of all ages.
The Uhre Fuchsia
Garden is also a beautiful stop on your tour of the city. With over 500
varieties on the grounds, this is a great spot for an impromptu family
picnic.

The Viking informational center of
Royal Jelling is a fun stop to learn some Viking trivia in a historic
