Eating Out in Rab island

Tourists were told through years that there is no Croatian cuisine and 'croatian' cuisine has been known for "cevapcici" ( grilled minced meat fingers) and the Balkan grill. This was and is at odds with reality. There is a rich palette of the traditional dalmatian dishes that include plentyfuill of greens and salads, lamb, capon, fish, risotto, pasta, gnocchi... Similar to italian cuisine. It is said that croatian Adriatic is the place where the Italians eat better than at home. Few dishes to ask for: Fritters, Salted fish, sweet -soure fish dish "saur", Octopuses and squids salads, grilled squids, Goulash with gnocchi, fish stews with palenta...
