Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seePula is located south of Rjeka and conveniently close to Triest in Italy. It is one of the most attractive towns of the Croatian coast. It dates from Roman times and Pula has many impressive monuments from its history, the most famous being the Amphitheatre built in the 1st century AD during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian. Other sights include the temple of Augustus, the town walls, the town square, the old Forum of the Romans is still going strong.
There are many small restaurants in the old centre where you can get good food for very reasonable prices. Accommodation will not be a problem either. Ther are many campsites, hotels and private accommodation possibilities in town and the area around it.
