The island of Lopud is located northwest of Dubrovnik and is a part of the Elafiti islands. It lies between Kolocep and Šipan The town of Lopud lies on northwest side of the bay and has a view of Šipan.
The
island has a long history. You can find buildings dating back to Greek
and Roman times as well as from the heyday of the repuplic of
Dubrovnik.
