Neretva River Safari

Embark on Neretva River Safari from village Vid, only 25 km far from Komarna. On Neretva river people, throughout the history, have used specially designed little boats, called "trupica" ili "ladja". Today, locals offer the river ride in these traditional boats. Most of the trips include also degustation of the local specialities, like frogs and eels, dry figs and local "grappa".

Ston

Ston is only half an hour drive from Komarna. During Dubrovnik Republic, long fortified walls were built around Ston to protect Dubrovnik Republic from the enemies. The walls are 5.5. km long. Beside its historical sites, Ston is very famous for its sea food, particulary oysters.

Dubrovnik

Mostar

Mostar is 65 km nort of Komarna. The biggest attraction in Mostar is its Unesco listed Old Bridge. The old turkish style houses in the old town are very interesting to see. Taste local meat dish - cevapcici.
