Jablanac Travel Guide

Jablanac is mostly known about the fjord Zavratnica, and the National Park around it. From here goes the ferry to the Otok Rab (Rab Island) as well, and in the summer months you can buy great ice-cream in the dock!

The village itself has 1 Hotel (Ablana), 1 harbour front cafe (Ruža), 1 harbour front restaurant (Lux) and 1 street cafe/diner (Oaza). There are numerous rooms for rent. There is a small supermarket, a post office, a fruit stall, a magazine/cigarette kiosk and the Harbourmaster's office. More common currencies can be changed next to the Ferry ticket office. Avoid visiting the village on a Saturday during the summer and public holidays as the queue for the ferry to Rab can stretch for more than 4 km.
