The picture on the right is of a "Green Cave" located in a small town called Blagaj 12 km south of Mostar. This is a largest karst spring in Europe and it gives rise to Buna river. The river emerges from an underground stream after it carved its way through the irregular limestone commonly found in this part of Europe. Blagaj
Edit ThisThe Blagaj is a spring which emerges from the bottom of a cliff 12km outside of Mostar. The water is really clean and cold. It's good luck to drink from a silver cup at the steps of an old muslim religious house at the springs' head. There are several cafes along the shallow river.
