Practical Information

The "Dashtvand" Hotel is situated 245 km apart from Baku city in Masalli, located in beatiful part of southern region of Azerbaijan. "Dashtvand" means a steppe's border or Sea shore. "Dashtvand" is ancient name of village Arkivan. "Dashtvand" is beatiful recreation zone, formed at the left side of Masalli - Yardimli highway, in western direction from Arkivan village, 5 km apart from regional centre. Tours to Yarsimli's waterfall, Lankaran beach zone and well-known "Istisu" recovery sanatorium are organized in "Dashtvand" .

"Dashtvand" has 5 ha square area, where there are 2 artificial lakes. Rare types of birds and fishes are living in them. All holiday - makers have possibilities to go boating, to fish in these lakes. There are pavilions within lakes. In the kitchen of "Dashtvand" modern and ancient Caucasus meals are offered along with European ones. These meals are prepared from food products produced from birds and animals grown in "Dashtvand"'s own farm. "Dashtvand" has a restaurant for 150 persons, snack - bar, decorated in the style of ancient art, for 60 persons, a sauna meeting modern requirements, a hydro-massage room, a pool and a beautiful garden. At the mini zoological garden rare types of birds are kept.

There 20 apartments, furnished in modern European style. This recreation centre is constantly provided with electric energy and hot water. Satellite type antennas make it possible to see most European TV channels. Tours to Yardimli watefall, Istisu sanatorium, Lankaran and Astara cities, Caspian beaches, forests and springs situated in this zone are organized, using by this purpose comfortable mini - buses. Permanent musical programs, table games contests are held in addition to above.
