Senior Travel in Zell am See
Edit ThisZell am See is a wonderful ski resort high in the Austrian Alps and is home to some of the most fantastic skiing
available in Europe. Zell am See is also a wonderful senior destination for skiers and non-skiers--from sightseeing tours that
include a mountain train ride through the Alps to a more sedate
experience of having drinks on the patio at the Grand Hotel on the Zellar Sea. One of
the great local drinks is called the Radler, a half beer-half Sprite drink that is a
favorite concoction of the Zell am See locals and one that will get the senior traveler
in the right mood for the other fantastic evening plans ahead.
Senior Experiences in Zell am See
The first aspect for a senior adventurer to cover is the transportation aspect. There is nothing more important that the ability to safely and adequately maneuver within a territory, especially an unknown and exotic locale like Zell am See. For starters, the senior traveler will need an affordable and secure method for mobility and this is where the fleet of taxis in Zell am See comes in mighty handy. There are a great number of for-hire taxi companies in the city and these are predominantly self-run operations so selections are vast. Most of the larger units are from United States based larger well-known firms such as Checker Cab, Yellow Cab, and Black Cab. These make up a relatively sufficient portion of the taxi fleet yet the majority will be local independent cabs and these are the best to travel with. Give the locals a try; the ride will be safe, effective and very entertaining.
