Opened in December 2005 by Nina Hovnanian (Armenia's Tourism Development Agency's Executive Director and former NYC designer) in one of the last remaining landmark buildings in Yerevan, the design center is ever evolving as an innovative way to showcase and market Armenian quality products to the world.

In any other part of the world this design center would be regarded as an non for profit effort. The center currently is showcasing and selling over 400 artisans' and artisanal workshops' works, supporting over 600 families throughout Armenia.
The latest addition is the serene and elegant Treasures Tea Cafe housed in the former couture salon next to the main retail space. Featuring Armenian teas and afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches and fresh homemade pastries and special events all month long, the cafe's accent is on Hospitalitea!
