Bars and Cafes in Yerevan

entertaining. There are countless bars and cafes speckled throughout the
city and visitors have their choice of many themes and varied
environments for their night out. Most cafes here serve liquor and
outdoor cafes are the place to be in the nice summer months, while bars
are a nice refuge in the winter to escape the biting cold. Many of the
best spots in town will feature both a cafe outdoors when the weather is
suitable and indoor seating for the winter. Here are some of the most
popular bars and cafes throughout the city that are sure to entertain
you on your trip to Yerevan.
Bars and Cafes in Yerevan
Bravo, located on Kochar Street, is a popular bar that features 3
floors, a theme restaurant and club attached to it. There is a Jazz Hall
here and while Bravo can be pricey, it has a nice ambiance and features
good music.
Kino Nairi, between Mashtots and Moskovian, is a nice bar complex with 2 bars and a small movie theater showing English language movies at 10
p.m. nightly. In one bar, servers dress up like characters from the movie
"5th Element," while in the bar's basement is the bar Underground 566 180
which features cabaret-style shows nightly.
The Red Bull Pub is a nice setting to enjoy a beer. Located between
Tumanian and Sarian Streets, this pub-style bar is perfect for a laid
back evening and is one of the few pub-styled bars in the city.
Expats in the city will enjoy the Wheel Club between Gukasian and
Pushkin where a large expat community gathers.
Karaoke Bars in Yerevan
One phenomenon in Yerevan that has gained particular interest in recent
years is karaoke. It has swept the city and there are currently 2
karaoke bars that are wildly popular among residents of the city.
Reservations are required at both year round so be sure to plan ahead if
you wish to spend a night singing.
Karioke on Amirian Street and Arlequino Club on Mashtots are the places
to go to belt out some tunes and both cost 500 AMD per song and between
500 AMD and 1000 AMD for drinks.
