Homestays

As hotels in Yerevan are very expensive many travellers opt for home stays with local ladies or families. Maybe the most popular among backpackers is Mrs. Anahit Stepanyan. She lives at the uppermost floor of the building, she can accommodate up to 7 people and she speaks both English and Russian. The price is 8$ (can be payable in drams) per person per night. The location is very central, near the opera building and in case of good weather conditions you can see Mt. Ararat from her flat. At least two more ladies from the same building also offer homestays, one of them Mrs. Gayane just one floor below Anahit.
