Getting Around in Andorra
Edit ThisYou won’t probably need any Andorra la Vella transportation during your stay, since the town is small. Everything is easily reachable by walking. You can walk from one end of the town to the other in about an hour. However, if you have time or physical constraints or want to be able to move around the nearby suburbs, you can always take one of the public buses or rent a car.
Public Buses
There are about 6 public bus lines serving Andorra la Vella and the surrounding towns. Buses run from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fares are very affordable and depend on the distance of your trip. If you want to go from one end of the town to the other, for example, you will have to pay no more than $1.75 as of summer 2010. The vehicles serving the various bus lines are painted in yellow. They are small, comfortable and well-maintained.
Car Rental
Car rental is a common option for moving around Andorra la Vella. There are two companies which rent cars in the town. These are If Rent on Baixada del Moli and Pyrenees Rent a Car on Meritxell Avenue. Both offer a wide selection of vehicles and accident insurance. The prices start from $80 per vehicle daily for runs of up to 400 kilometers, which is more than enough for moving around the whole country.
