7 Day Itinerary in Saranda
Edit ThisIf you are looking for an extraordinary vacation, then you must
prepare only the best Saranda Itinerary for your travel. Aside from beautiful seascape and ruins, Saranda also offers a
Mediterranean climate that never fails to attract tourists. Here is a
7-Day itinerary suggestion for you.
Day 1 - Do Some Fishing
You must be tired after your flight, but surely once you've set eyes on
the beautiful waters of Saranda, all your weariness will go away.
Do some fishing so you get a little light exercise while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Day 2 - Go Swimming
The most basic thing to do in Saranda is to take a dip in the sea. This body of water is part of the Ionian Sea of the
Mediterranean. Best time to swim is from May to September, when the water is warmest.
Day 3 - Experience Gjirokastra's Beauty
This one is truly never to be missed out. Gjirokastra's interesting
architecture has always amazed tourists who want to get a taste of the
town's traditional setting. Stoned pathways and 19th-century houses never fail
to amaze.
Day 4 - Ride A Bus To Butrint
Most tourists include this in their travel plan because they know how
the wonderful Greek historical ruins of Butrint present a look at
the history of Albania--and often foster a love for Grecian relics.
Day 5 -
Shop By The Sea
Believe it or not, there are some souvenir
items for sale near the sea. While walking the beach, you may see lace
works and handicrafts sold nearby. Buy some unique items to take home at very reasonable prices.
Day
6 - Visit Ancient Sites
You must not miss out on the ancient
sites in Saranda, as they give you a clearer view of the district
capital’s history. The old town Onhezmi and the ancient temple in Finiq
are only some of the popular spots you must not overlook.
Day 7 - Go To The Old Castle of Lekurse
This is your
last day, and thus, you must make the most out of it. Pay a visit to the
old castle and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Saranda Bay and the
mountain outskirts below. A restaurant also lies within. Just be sure to
get back on time for your flight.
