Independence Square (east)

Located on Port of Spain's downtown area, Independence Square isn't really a square, but rather two parallel streets bordering a pedestrian area, known as Brian Lara Promenade. This one of the liveliest and busiest spots in the city.

The gothic cathedral viewed in the webcam is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and is located at the end of the promenade.
