The cultural experience is First Class.  Going beyond "eco"- tourism; the Bowden Pen Farmer's Cooperative built Ambassabeth Cabins to share a more luxurious version of the rural Jamaican way of life.  You can choose between en suite Shower, Shower house, or river bathing.  You can learn to cook Jamaican foods, learn about medicinal herbs, or help catch seafood.

Nearby activities include... waterfalls all to youself, a large river for rafting or lounging, the Cuna-Cuna Trail Pass, the Maroon Settlement at Mooretown, bananawalks, and the list goes on...    15 miles in between the Mountains South of Port Antonio, you are surrounded by some of the Caribbean's last virgin forest, and endemic species of plant and animals, including the Jamaican Giant Swallow-Tail Butterfly.

Amabassabeth and the Bowden Pen Farmer's renew the body and soul, providing an active learning vacation you can never forget.
