Formal attire is recommended to fit in with the elegant atmosphere that this restaurant provides. Well known for their fine steak selection, Mac’s also serves specialties like Wild Orange Duckling, the Knutsford Veal Chop and minted Baby Lamb Chops.

Whitfield Hall
Going from ritzy to very well known, Whitfield Hall restaurant is worth the effort it takes to get up the mountain it sits upon and enjoy both the food and the breath-taking views. Whitfield Hall is the place to go for the best breakfast. They serve Blue Mountain coffee along with freshly baked bread that smells absolutely wonderful.
It’s still a secret to most visitors so don’t be surprised if it’s hard to find people that can give you directions. It is recommended you call the restaurant ahead of time for directions. Locals claim the adventure is worth the effort.
To get there you have to take a minibus to Mavis Bank and then either “hike” the mountain to Whitfield Hall or hire a 4-wheel vehicle driver, because the road is so steep. The scenery is incredible and the view from the restaurant looks out over the whole island of Jamaica! This restaurant is known for being a peaceful place to escape the hustle of the resorts in Jamaica.
Nicole’s Sweet Temptations
If you are just looking to satisfy your sweet tooth then check out Nicole’s Sweet Temptations, a local bakery that gets rave reviews for their lemon mousse cake. It is heavenly!
