Located in Pétion-Ville, in the cool hills above Port-au-Prince, Villa Créole is convenient to the airport, or downtown, and but a few minutes from Haïti's famed art galleries, casinos and restaurants. Count on about 100 USD for a double.

Service at this hotel is painfully slow (I have stayed here twice and it was the same both times).  Water in the Hotel is potable and safe to drink.  Internet is included in the room rate and can be excruciatingly slow.  There is a very nice pool and tanning deck.  The Workout room is nice with good more..

Hotel El Rancho

The El Rancho Hotel is located in Petion-Ville, next to the La Villa Creole Hotel, above the city of Port-au-Prince.  This is a nice hotel by U.S. standards.  By contrast, it is one of the nicest hotels in Port-au-Prince.  Service at the front desk during our stay was very good.  Service in the Casino was very good.  Service in the restaurants, however, was slow to very slow (as it is in all restaurants in Haiti).  Rooms are comfortable with good A/C and refrigerators.  Breakfast and Internet was included in more..
