Gonave island is a 65 km long island west of the capital. La gonave is the most beautiful Island in Haiti. In later 80's it was one of the most populated places in Haiti to visit. The most beautiful beaches are located in La gonave. You can get to La Gonave by boat. Small airplanes do now fly into La Gonave.
