Habana Libre
Edit ThisThis hotel was financed, developed and owned by the Cuban Bartenders Guild. After the comunist revolution, the Socialist State confiscated it as well as all other private property. Now the regime has sold it to the modern spanish conquistadors.
Rooms are functional and modern; some offer great sea views. Cuba's best musicians play at the rooftop disco.
Cubans are not allowed inside the hotel. If you are the isolacionnist type, it is a good place. if you want to interact with cuban people, search for a private home for rent in the internet. You will enjoy your tryp more, adn help an empoverished Cuban family.
