Long Bay Resort is a very nice (and somewhat expensive) resort on the island. There is a mile-long beach that offers a beautiful oceanside walk. There are also 2 pools, if you don't enjoy salt water. The accommodations are very nice, and the rooms are quite private, separated by trees and flowers. The whole area is quite attractive. There is a view of an island off of the coast, visible from all points of the resort. The Long Bay Resort also has 2 restaurants and a couple of bars, if you don't rent a car or simply prefer to remain in place.

Fort Recovery Beachfront Villa Hotel & Resort, chosen by Discovery's Travel Channel, was the only Resort Selected on Tortola for their Caribbean Exclusive show. Fort Recovery is renown for it's private Restaurant, exclusively for it's guests', with one of the top Chef's in the BVI.
