At present there are no major hotel chains in Barbados. That occured when the Old Barbados Hilton (which wasn't so old, but needed renovation and additions) was torn down to make room for a newer bigger more rooms Barbados Hilton. That is all about to change with the opening of The New Barbados Hilton.

There are, however, many other hotels who are affiliated with larger hotel companies such as The Fairmont Royal Pavillion and The Fairmont Glitter Bay, owned by Fairmont Hotels.  

Sandy Lane hotel, who have just received a 5 diamond award for the 2nd year in a row. Renovated (torn down and rebuilt) in the last 4 years the hotel is beautiful if not expensive. And the Sandy Lane Spa which is "to die for".
