Come to beautiful Taboga Island, Panama and enjoy a very private, 900
sq. foot, one bedroom house, including an additional, open room with
queen sofa bed and fantastic views. We offer the best of both worlds: a
lovely island retreat and a thriving city located just 10 miles away!
Your gated, private entrance is surrounded by night blooming jasmine and
hibiscus. Sway in hammocks under ceiling fans on your terrace while
enjoying views of Panama City, ships transiting the Panama Canal, and
the surrounding islands. A large, fully equipped kitchen allows you to
create your own home cooked meals. You can dine in the kitchen or
barbecue near your terrace dining table. It is a short two minute walk
to the waters edge and restaurants.

We also offer charter fishing excursions. Taboga Fishing Charters rates
of $60.00 per hour (two hour minimum) are tailored for two anglers on sport
fishing trips along the waters of Taboga Island with the only English
speaking guide in Taboga. Tres Terrazas guests receive a special fishing rate.
We also offer island water tours.

Isla Taboga is a small island of about 900 friendly people in the Pacific
just 10 miles from Panama City. This lush island
boasts nice beaches, hiking trails, assorted wildlife and gorgeous
flowers. Thus, the name, the "Island of Flowers". It is always warm in
Isla Taboga. The average daily temperature is 88F. The water temperature
averages 82F making it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and fishing.
There are numerous fiestas throughout the year with music and fireworks.

Taboga Island is a preserve for thousands of pelicans who come to nest every
year. You will also find ospreys, comorants, anteaters, cranes, iguanas,
turtles and boobys. Off of the coast of Taboga you might catch a
glimpse of migrating whales as well as dolphins who frequent the waters.

From Taboga Island you are only a short one hour ferry ride from Panama City
with much shopping, historic sites and many great restaurants. The
Calypso Ferry service is located on the Amador Causeway and can be
reached at (507)314-1730. There are daily flights into Tocumen
International Airport with Continental, United and American Airlines,
among others. From the airport you are a twenty five minute taxi ride
to the heart of Panama City.

experienced guide for tours to the rain forest, Panama Canal and the interior.
Upon your arrival we will pick you up at the Taboga pier and whisk you up to the
house. We live next door to Tres Terrazas so we are available for any
help you may need during your stay!
