Take the Bus from Managua

The cheapest way to travel from Managua to San Juan del Sur is by bus.  A direct bus leaves the Managua bus depot twice daily.  If you don't find the direct bus, or it's not running, take a bus to Rivas, then get on a second bus to San Juan del Sur.  The total cost of the trip is less than $5 US.
