Soda "Cyber" Carolina

The Internet cafe works great!  There are three computers for use and they all use a Satellite Internet connection.  The connection is not lightning fast, but it is very good.  Large pictures files can be uploaded to the internet without a problem and without wasting a lot of time.  The connection is reliable.

It opened in September 2005.  The price is 30 cordobas per hour.  It is more expensive than say Granada, but then again the cyber cafe is located way down a river.

NEW INFORMATION:

I just visited El Castillo in June 2007 and the Internet cafe has closed.  A new one may be opened soon at Border's Cafe and Coffee.  This cafe has fantastic organic nica coffee and owner Yamil can cook you up some great food.  He does have a phone that can be used for international phone calls.   This cafe is located at the main boat dock.    If you need a place to stay ask Yamil about his family's Lodge. 

Nena Lodge & Tours just opened this year.  We stayed their and loved it!  Very affordable and safe.  They will have a new website soon so be sure to check it out.
