Getting There

Edit This

Trujillo is essentially the end of the line going east on the north coast.

Two bus companies run to and from Trujillo: Cotuc and Cotraipbal. Of these two, Cotuc is by far the better option. Cotuc runs coach busses, generally newer and more comfortable.  Cotraipbal busses are usually old yellow school buses, and they have a history of road accidents.  Prices are about the same on both.

From San Pedro Sula:
Cotuc and Cotraipbal run the route from SPS, and you can hop on in Tela or La Ceiba as well.  6 1/2 hours.

From La Ceiba:
The Cotuc and Cotraipbal terminals are located right next to each other, any taxi driver knows where they are.  Busses leave about every hour and a half to Trujillo. 2 1/2 - 3 hours, L.79 (US$4)
