Heidi,
I have three wooden statues, religious in nature, brought back by my father which were found in an old dilapadated barn in Guatemala - they appear to be quite old, one of which is probably of the Virgin Mary, painted in a bright blue paint. Do you have any idea where I might be able to read more about htese statues. Two are just wooden, no paint, but crudely made. They are not to my eye, newly created for the tourist trade.
My dad recovered them sometime between 1965 - 1975
Thanks for your help.
