This is the budget favorite in Xela. It's an old, rambling place run by a friendly family and inhabited by volunteers, students and backpackers. There are about 20 private rooms, most of which are usually being rented to long-term residents for $100/month. If those rooms are full, stay in the large dorm for $3/night. There is a communal kitchen and plenty of bathrooms.

This place has a convivial, friendly air. However, if you're looking for privacy and quiet, it might be better to spend a few more Q a night and stay somewhere else.
