Q´ana Itz´am

We are a Mayan village located halfway between Rio Dulce and Livingston.  Located deep in a jungle lagoon, we are reachable only by boat.  The hotel and restaurant is a project run by this indiginous community.  We have many private rooms, chalets and a full restaurant and bar.  We offer tours in cayuco through the lagoons, manatee reserve, waterfalls and hot springs.  Q´ana It´zam is a unique experience where you can live in an indiginous community, learn our language and crafts and feel like a part of the family!
