Hotel Stofella (Best Western)

A very nice hotel, frequently used by business travelers and tourists alike at a great location in Zona 10.   Near the heart of “Zona Viva” and very close to two important shopping malls (La Pradera and La Proceres), a wealth of restaurants nearby (including the famous “Kacao” – a must-visit for local cuisine and waiters in traditional mayan attire under a big thatched roof) and across the street from a newly (March 15, 2006) opened “Applebee’s” (for those needing American cuisine).    Clean rooms with a safe, continental breakfast including eggs with tomatoes, fruit, toast and that wonderful Guatemalan coffee.   Friendly staff, Jacuzzi.     The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the airport.   Rated at 4 Stars.
