Getting There

Tamarindo has an airstrip serviced by daily flights from San Jose. SANSA, the national airline, and Travelair, a private airline both make the trip. There is also a paved highway from San José and many buses make the trip. With a car it shouldn't take longer than 4-5 hrs. to Tamarindo.

The new international airport in Liberia has flights to and from Miami. The airport is just a 45 minute drive from Tamarindo.
