Jungle Internet Cafe
Edit ThisThis cafe has the fastest connection, and is air conditioned .. it also cost a little more for using a small amount but if you purchase a larger block of time it is a good deal. They have the only WIFI network in town. with a very good range pretty much downtown. Actually its the best internet cafe in the area, has a huge open air cinema, just amazing, never seen that before, its free, really nice, the best place to hang out on evenings.

Lizard King Wifi Hotspot
Edit ThisLizard King Wifi HotSpot and Internet cafe has one of the fastest connections in Puerto Viejo - they have brand new laptops as of Jan 2009 -very good for Skype.
The signal reaches from salsa brava beach all the way to surf point beach. You can log in virtually and pay via cradit card on line - or walk in and pay/use their computers in person. Half of the computers are equipted with camera, all have headsets for skype, messenger and various chat uses.
They are moderately priced - ranging from 1$ for 15 minutes to 30$ for one month.
