Playa Junquillal, Guanacaste

The province of Guanacaste, the north west coast of Costa Rica, called the "gold coast" is made of a string of lovely beaches.  Each offers a unique tropical experience. 
Playa Junquillal is a still undeveloped beach recently connected with paved roads.  Frequented by surfers for many years, now a destination for families and vacationers seeking quiet, natural beauty.  Long sandy beaches and small villages of fine hotels and dining.  Junquillal has an international community blended into the local Costa Rican population and has attracted several artists who provide interesting shopping for remembrances  of  their Costa Rican  adventure.
