Regular, frequent and reliable air service is available from Belize City (Philip W. Goldson International Airport - BZE) to Dangriga, on either of the Belize-flagged carriers, Maya Island Air, and Tropic Air.  Both carriers rely almost exclusively on the well-regarded Cessna 208 Caravan, a rugged and comfortable single-engined turboprop.

Pilots are skilled, and you'll appreciate that when approaching the airfield at Dangriga- the runway is but 2,000 feet long, and not too smooth, but the Caravan is well-crafted for this mission.

Be sure that you have arranged for pickup by the operator of your lodging , as there is no taxi service at Dangriga.
