Getting There in Vava'u island

First, you must travel to Tongatapu, which is easy enough once you have found a flight that goes to Tonga. After that, you have the choice of going by boat or plane to Vava'u. Taking the boat (The Olovaha) takes about half a day and the plane (Peau Vava'u) takes and hour. Taking the boat is a memorable experience.
