New Zealand is a small island in the south western pacific comprising of two main lands, South Island and North Island. New Zealand was isolated from the rest of the world for a very long time and this has helped develop a great natural wildlife in and around New Zealand. New Zealand Sights will offer something for everyone. The best of the places for visit are as below.

North Island Sights

Wellington and Auckland are the two biggest cities in North Island. Waitomo caves are one of the most adored tourist spots in New Zealand. The Underground caves with its lovely brown, pink and white stalactite formation offers a kaleidoscopic ambience and a ghostly acoustics. Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World is situated in Auckland and offers you the experience of an aquarium, museum and Zoo all put together. The giant eels, penguins, sharks and sting rays will give you an authentic account of the South Sea marine life. Central North Island offers a set of other natural wonders. The Hobbiton Village (Movie Lord of the Rings) at Matamata, an encounter with Kiwi and the Maori aboriginals at Rotorua Village, colorful volcanic and geothermal natural asset Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and the exciting adventure ride in Hukafalls Taupo will certainly make you feel close to nature. If you are staying in Wellington then a visit to Te Papa is a must. It will give you an authentic ride through the history and the natural assets of the New Zealand.

South Island Sights

South Island is one of the best places for seeing the great South Pacific and South Ocean marine life. Christchurch is the aerial gateway to Antarctica and the International Arctic museum here is rated as one of the best tourist destinations in New Zealand. The tour in the museum will give you an experience of the Antarctic snow storm and an exciting outdoor Antarctic Hagglund Ride. The Christchurch gondola (ropeway) ride from Port Hills will give you a stunning panoramic view of the city and the surroundings. You may have been to many Hotel Spas but the natural Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa in Hanmer is an ideal spot for relaxing in the midst of a gorgeous natural beauty. The tour to Abel Tasman National Park in a water taxi is at the same time exciting and adventurous. If you are really adventurous then a rafting experience across the backwater in Dragons cave will be satisfying. If you are a veteran rafting expert then rafting through the hot rocks in Greymounth will certainly challenge your limits.
