The road to Milford Sound. Worth an afternoon on it's own merits. This 100km stretch from Te Anua has some sights and sounds, smells available nowhere else on the planet.

Milford Sound Underwater centre. Not like Loch-ness, Milford sound is brimming with wildlife below the surface. Pay your $10 fee and watch the multiples of fish and wildlife perform for the public. Feeding time is at 10am and 3pm. Don't miss it.

Mitre Peak. Pure granite slab marking the end of the Routeburn trail, New Zealands most popular walk.
