Dining Out
Edit This
While BBQs (bar-be-ques) and fish and chips may not be fine dining, your New Zealand cuisine experience is incomplete without enjoying either of these traditional New Zealand meals. Freshly cooked fish and chips (fries), wrapped in paper, are best enjoyed at the beach, while the 'barbie' can be fired up for any occasion. You can also try a Maori hangi, or traditional feast, where food is cooked in a traditional earth oven or steam vent.
