The Waitakere Ranges are one of them. The Ranges are about 30 minutes west of central Auckland. The Arataki Visitor Centre on Scenic Drive in 9 km distance from Titirangi is the place to get information about the park. Covered are popular surf and swimming beaches, secluded beaches, walks, hikes and tramping trails and many highlights of outdoor trips.
