Skytower

Raffael Luthiger

A diversity of landscape provides an inviting playground for the adventure seeker. A multi-cultured city, Auckland offers all the amenities and attractions associated with a sophisticated cosmopolitan city, including galleries, museums, theatre and concerts. All of these have the distinctive blend of Polynesian and European themes.

Many historic places, important scenic spots and some of New Zealand's modern buildings have gained a special status as cultural icons. Among them are the Auckland Harbour Bridge and theSky City Tower.

Auckland has some excellent museums, principally the NZ National Maritime Museum (which they rightly claim as world-class) and the Auckland Museum.
