Edit ThisMany historic places, important scenic spots and some of New Zealand's modern buildings have gained a special status as cultural icons. Among them are the Auckland Harbour Bridge and theSky City Tower.
Auckland has some excellent museums, principally the NZ
National Maritime Museum (which they rightly claim as world-class) and
the Auckland Museum.
Skytower
Edit ThisThe Sky Tower is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. You get an overview over whole Auckland.
Admission is $18.00 for adullts (Senior Citizens $14.00; Students (with ID) $13.00) and $8.00 for childrens (5-14). Children under 5 are free. Family passes (2 adults and 2 children) are $44.00, and $6.80 for each additional child. There is also a Sun & Stars pass that allows 1 day visit and 1 night visit for $24.00. The Sky Deck is an additional $3.00.
