Parnell is the most poshest area of those three. If you want to go out on Wednesday go to Parnell. This is one of the 'rules' I learned during my stay in Auckland. The rest of the week Parnell is empty.
An other place I can recommend is High Street. High St is near Britomart (Queen St). I found there one of the best Jazz Bars (Deschlers Jazz Bar). There are several bars and clubs as well. If you like house music go to The Met in High St.
All around the Viaduct Harbour

Deschlers Jazz Bar

And they have really great cocktails and drinks.

Parnell
Edit ThisParnell is a very happening place to be late on a wednesday evening. Best club to date is the Vanilla Bar. Drink specials, superb RnB music to move to. Open 9pm till 3am. Not too shabby! Bullfish was once the place to be, George Bar was good but now also closed.
