There are 2 main ways of getting out to the Loyalty Islands - by air or by boat.
The main thing to watch out for is that there are restrictions on when and where you can get to each day as the planes are very small, there are limited flights which are sometimes fully booked and the ferry only goes a couple of times a week. Try to book in advance so that you are not stuck in Noumea waiting for the next plane/ferry out to the Loyalty Islands.
