Internet Cafes
Edit ThisThe only Internet access place in the entire Tuamotu archipelago is on
the islet of Reporepo at Taaroa Web. Located about 1/4 km from the Kia
Ora resort at the western edge of the chain of islets, it's not really
a cafe but they'll sell you some black pearls if you want.
Access speed is pretty decent considering how out in the middle of nowhere you are. The two terminals access the net via a dial-up connection over the islands sometimes flakey satellite uplink, but unless you can get the Professor and MaryAnne to rig you up a coconut phone, this is the only game in town.
750 CFP for 25 minutes if memory serves correctly.
