Modern apartments not far from the CBD of Suva. Some apartments have a view over Suva and the bay. A walk into town would take 15 to 20 minutes, but it's quite a steep climb back. There's even a electric fry pan. There's only tea and coffee making and yet they charge the full rate for a room that they advertise has got a kitchen and cooking facilities. Nice rooms though with own bathroom but you can't cook any meals at all. There are restaurants though not too far away for all meals.

Raffles Tradewinds Hotel & Convention Centre

The Tradewinds is located on the bay in Lami, a suburb of Suva. A little run down, but very nice if you want to stay away from the bustle of Suva. The CBD of Suva is a bus or FJ$5 taxi ride away. Ask for a room looking over the bay. The view is wonderful in the morning.

Town House Apartment Hotel

Very basic self-contained apartments right in Suva. The decor is a bit tired and the furniture is basic, but Town House is great if you want to prepare your own meals. Its location in town also means you can walk to everything. The locals stay here, which gives you an idea of pricing.
