Lautoka is an industrial city covered in sugarcane ashes.
The best reason to go there is that it has 8 movie theater screens. Food is less expensive than Nadi. I guess you could learn about how Sugar is refined from cane. You can see lots of sugarcane on boxcars on the railroad.
There is also a great beach here too.
